The Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center is located at the northwest corner of campus. The center represents the commitment of Kutztown University to the preservation of Pennsylvania German (Pennsylvania Dutch) history, folklore, and traditions.

The Center sits on a 30-acre, 19th century farmstead and also features the Freyberger one-room schoolhouse, library, and museum. In addition to year-round programming and events, the Center hosts classes for KU's PA German Studies academic program.
