Parent/Family Orientation Program
Welcome to the golden bear community!
Maybe you are about to become a college parent for the first time, or maybe you've been one for years. No matter the stage you're in, we know that selecting a university for your child is one of the most important things you'll do! We want to help you make an informed choice by providing detailed information about financing a college education, on-campus living, commuting, academics, and the power of student involvement.
The KU Parent/Family Orientation Program is an optional, separate, half-day program on the same date and time as your student's orientation. Your student can register you when they sign up for their required orientation. Seating for parent/family orientation is limited. Speak to your student and review the dates/times listed below.
