KU Named 2022 Transfer Honor Roll Recipient for Fifth-Consecutive Year
KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University was named to Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society's 2022 Transfer Honor Roll for the fifth-consecutive year. KU was among 171 colleges and universities in the nation to be named in recognition of the dynamic pathways the universities create to recognize the needs of and support transfer students.
Kutztown University was one of 10 Pennsylvania schools honored and the only member of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education.
All regionally accredited four-year institutions that admit transfer students a minimum of once annually are eligible to apply and are evaluated in six areas: admissions, transfer data, campus life, cost of attendance, peer reviews and recruitment practices. Institutions were selected based on their Transfer Friendliness Rating, which is determined by the Transfer Profile they create in PTK Connect.
Transfer students looking to KU will find a host of opportunities and support from staff specifically assigned to assist with the needs of transfer students, transfer admission days, on-campus transfer special interest group housing, transfer-only orientations and special Welcome Week and weekend programs. KU has multiple scholarships for transfer students including merit scholarships for any transfer students, the Phi Theta Kappa scholarship as well as scholarships for housing, textbooks and students who complete an associate degree before attending KU.
