2025-2026 In-State Student Tuition and Scholarships
Kutztown University automatically reviews students for merit scholarships based on academic performance at the time of acceptance. Students who qualify for a merit scholarship are guaranteed the award as long as they maintain the academic standards listed in their acceptance letter for eight continuous Fall and Spring semesters. Questions about merit scholarships should be directed to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at admissions@kutztown.edu.
Donor scholarships are not automatically awarded. All students, new and returning, must complete the scholarship profile to be reviewed based upon the qualifications set by the donor and academic department by the established deadline here. Questions about donor scholarships should be directed to the Financial Aid Services Office at financialaid@kutztown.edu.
Note: University employee-dependent students are not eligible for merit scholarships, as they receive a tuition waiver.

"The thought of being both an upperclassman and the “new kid” was pretty intimidating since I transferred to KU as a junior. As soon as I stepped foot on campus, all my fears went away, and I knew I was home. The Transfer Community at KU really helps connect new transfers with other students."
“Kutztown University was the second school I transferred to, and I should’ve started here in the first place. As a first-generation college student, I have been lucky to have support from TRIO Student Services. I was able to gain a mentor, succeed in my classes after struggling online, and balance my responsibilities."
Kutztown University is recognized as a top transfer institution by Phi Theta Kappa!
