Temporary Faculty Position in Counselor Education for Spring 2021

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,300 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Counselor Education & Student Affairs invites applications for a temporary, part-time faculty position to begin Spring 2021. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field, evidence of scholarly activity, teaching experience at the graduate level, and successful completion of an interview.  Preferred: an earned doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited counselor education program.  Courses may be face-to-face or online.  Candidate must have the ability to teach the CACREP common core curricular areas and have a clear identity as a professional counselor or marriage and family therapist.
