Print Services

KU is excited to announce two new print services for the 2019-2020 academic year, Mobility Print and Email to Print. These services will provide all students with more flexibility and access to their own documents from their own personal devices.

All users are encouraged to make use of our new QR Code system at each print release station.  By scanning the QR Code at each specific printer, you can command your print jobs for release directly from your mobile device.  Please visit the App Store or Google Play for your devices compatible with QR Readers.

Email to Print

Email to print allows students to print by emailing their documents to a special address. No client software or drivers are required. This provides a simple way for our University to print from any device that can send an email.

  1. Open your Kutztown email and compose a message. The address you are sending this message to is:
  2. Attached the file to your email you are looking to print. You can do so by dragging the file manually into the text box of the email or by selecting the attach function.
  3. Select your file, the file will upload to the email so there may be a small delay. Send the email once the file is uploaded.
    1. If everything sends correctly, nothing will come back indicating there was an error.
    2. If you do receive a bounce-back error message, check the email for reasons why it failed and make the necessary changes.
  4. Locate the print station that you want it to print to and follow the instructions on the print release station.

*Print release stations will have a computer next to a printer.

*Print Release stations are located at the following locations:  BK120, DF028, MSU294, RL Ground Floor Room 001, RL Main Floor (Two Stations available to accommodate demand), RL Second Floor Room 204, OM-006 (24/7 Lab)

Using QR Codes

QR Codes skip the login at the Print Release Stations.  Users can browse printers available to them through mobility print on their personal device or may scan the QR Code at each student printer.

  1. The user uses their mobile device to scan the QR code sticker on the printer
  2. If the user has not previously logged in, they will be prompted to do so now. The mobile browser will open with a list of their print jobs.
  3. Select your file, and tap release. The jobs print

*Below is an example of a sticker that is adhered to the printer.
