  • Participate in fun and interactive events that are designed to help you become familiar with KU
  • Stay overnight in a traditional residence hall, and dine on campus in our South Dining Hall

    Supervision:

A staff representative will be on call 24 hours a day. Public Safety can also be reached at 610-683-4002 (Emergencies: 610-683-4001). All hosts have been selected by KU staff as ambassadors of the university. They have extensive knowledge of all that KU has to offer and will be able to answer most questions that the student may have. They have had training specific to this program and have completed/submitted all required clearances. Roommates of hosts have also been made aware of the program and are required to sign an agreement to ensure that your student feels welcomed.

Special Notes: The university will not be responsible for replacing lost or damaged personal items. Please do not bring any expensive electronics, jewelry or other valuable personal items.

All participants must have completed the parent/guardian form upon arrival to campus.  It is expected that participants follow the campus code of conduct during the program.  Failure to do so could result in removal from the program and can affect the participant's admissions decision.
