Transfer Admissions Criteria
Transfer applicants must have completed at least 12 college-level credits to be reviewed for admission. Transfer applicants will be evaluated solely on the basis of postsecondary credentials. Most programs require at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in all postsecondary coursework for admission.
The following Visual and Performing Arts programs require either a portfolio review or audition, which may lengthen the admissions process:
- Applied Digital Arts
- Art
- Art Education
- Art Education
:Alternative Settings - Commercial Music
- Communication Design
- Music
- Music Education
- Music Performance
The following major programs require a higher GPA and/or additional requirements:
- Bio/Pre-Med | GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Computer Science | GPA of 2.25 or higher
- Criminal Justice | GPA or 2.5 or higher and one Criminal Justice course with a grade of C or higher
- Education | GPA of 3.0 or higher and additional requirements based on the number of credits earned
- Mathematics | GPA of 2.25 or higher
- Psychology | GPA of 2.0 or higher and General Psychology course with a grade of C or higher
