Freshman Summer Reboot Program
Sometimes, students find the first year of college to be a struggle. They either struggle with maintaining grades for good academic standing or they fail to complete a full-time schedule of course credits. This can impact their financial aid eligibility for the second year and timely degree completion. If your student may be facing that situation, encourage them to keep an eye out for emails regarding our Freshman Summer Reboot Program. This program will provide an opportunity for students to complete summer courses, with academic and funding support available for eligible students. Students who complete the program successfully will enter their sophomore year with renewed financial aid eligibility and a strong foundation for success.Summer Session Registration
Summer session registration is in full swing. Summer sessions are scheduled as follows: Session I begins May 31 and runs through July 1. Session II begins July 11 and runs through Aug. 11. 10-week options are available from May-August.Fall 2022 Recruitment

Administration and Finance
Fall 2022 Registration and Account Holds
Students who have outstanding charges on their MyKU account may be prohibited from registering for the Fall 2022 semester until these balances are paid in full. We don't want to see students miss their registration appointments and encourage all students and families to check their MyKU accounts now to clear any balances. If the student misses their appointment, they can still clear their balance and register later; however, the longer students wait, the more the classes they may want, or need, can fill up. Contact the Office of Student Accounts for help and guidance on payment options at studentaccounts@kutztown.edu or 610-683-4133.Fall 2022 Billing and Payment Plans
Fall 2022 bills are scheduled to be prepared mid July, but the actual rates may be advertised prior to that on our website. Remember, Fall 2022 payment plans are open for the six-payment plan. The sooner you sign up, the more payments you can break the amount due into. You can use today's rates as a guide to set up the plan and then adjust once the actuals are published or the bill is ready online. Do you need help calculating the amount you need the plan for? Contact KU's Office of Student Accounts at studentaccounts@kutztown.edu or call 610-683-4133.Bear Bucks Refunds
Students who are graduating or withdrawing from Kutztown University may request a refund of the unused funds in their Bear Bucks account. The student will need to complete the "Bear Bucks Account Closure" form and mail it to the KU Card Office, 107 Academic Forum, or they can request the form from their KU email account by emailing the KU Card Office at kucard@kutztown.edu. There is typically a $10 processing fee. Once the form is approved, the refund will be processed and mailed to the home address on your MyKU account within two to four weeks.Summer 2022 Registration and Costs
Summer 2022 registration is open. Summer costs are published online as well as a page dedicated to summer session payment information. Due dates are assigned based on the date the registration occurs. Three-payment plans are open for summer (MyKU > KU Financial Account tile > Payment Dashboard). We encourage planning in advance to get the most payments. Students do not have to be enrolled to sign up for the payment plan.Online Billing Notifications and Texts for Parents
Students can easily set up their parents to receive billing emails and texts online. The student needs to log on to MyKU > KU Financial Account tile > Payment Dashboard > Select My Account > Payers section > Send a Payer Invitation. The parent will be emailed a special link to their own version of the Payment Dashboard and they will now receive emails and texts. Students choose "Add a Payer" and follow the prompts. The parent (called a payer) will be emailed a special link to their version of the Payment Dashboard and will then receive emails and texts. Remember, bills are statements, showing charges and payments, please check every time a notification is made. The student remains the fiscally-responsible party even if this access is granted.Graduating Seniors Exit Interviews (Perkins Loans)
Students planning to graduate in May will want to ensure that they have cleared all balances in MyKU. Those who have received a Perkins Loan at any time during their enrollment will require completion of an exit counseling. This would be in addition to an exit interview for Stafford Loans (Stafford Exit Counseling is found under Manage Loans). -
