KU Earns Highest-Ever Ranking, Named Best for Vets by Military Times for Seventh-Straight Year

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University has been ranked in Military Times' 2021 Best for Vets: Colleges rankings for the seventh-straight year. KU was ranked 19th among four-year schools, the highest ranking in school history (75th, 2019).
KU has been a mainstay on the survey results since 2014. Last year, KU had a military graduate rate of 68%.
Kutztown University offers many services for Veterans and Service members including a Veterans Center. KU has a single point-of-contact who aids and coordinates services. To make the pursuit of academic goals more manageable, KU offers military education benefits assistance, academic advising, career planning, counseling and Army ROTC. KU awards credit for military training, CLEP and DANTES. Veterans liaisons are available in key offices, and faculty and staff participate in sensitivity training for veterans.
KU's advisory board meets regularly to implement veteran-friendly policy. Its Student Veteran Organization provides valuable services to students and the community through their programming and fundraisers.
KU ranks atop Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education institutions, including Mansfield University in 109th and Indiana University (Pa.) in 163rd.
