Dr. Andrew Vogel - Program Director

The 2023-2024 academic year was Dr. Vogels first year as the KU Honors Program Director! He attended Ohio State University for his PhD in English. 

Veronique Vlaun

Veronoique Vlaun - Secertary

Vern has been with KU since 2006, working with different departments. The 2024-2025 school year will be her 6th with the Honors Program. She is heart and soul of KU Honors! Just ask the previous honors director, Dr. Schlegel, why she nominated Vern for not only November empolyee of the month but 2022 emplyee of the year, which Vern was later awarded. Any students who enter Honors Hall are greeted with her kind 'Hello' and bright smile.  

Breann Craley - Graduate Assistant

Breann Craley - Graduate Assistant

Breann joined the KU honors program in fall of 2020 as an internal transfer. Majoring in psychology as an undergraduate student. Graduating from the program in the fall of 2022, she completed her capstone research on Olfactory Sensation and Atypical-Age Related Abilities. Breann was a captain on field hockey team, who won the 2023 DII National Championship! She now is an assistant coach for the team.  

As one of our current graduate assistants, she is currently enrolled in the School Counseling track for her graduate studies. Breann is passionate about helping students through the honors program, developing skills they need for graduate and professional careers and being support person. She also runs the peer mentor program for all freshmen and transfer students. 

Phillip Appiah-Agyei

Phillip Appiah-Agyei - Graduate Assitant

Philip Williams, popularly known as “Dreamx” is a young emerging Ghanaian Economist and international Graduate student in Public Administration who recently joined KU’s Honors program as a Graduate Assistant. 
 
He is a student member at the chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana. Dreamx holds both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in Economics from the University of Cape Coast in 2017 and 2022 respectively. He is a pioneer and a Co-founder of African Student’s Union at the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He aspires to be a great political figure in the foreseeable future! 
Kalisha Martin

Kahlisha Martin- Student Worker

Kahlisha joined the KU Honors program in the fall of 2021. She is currently working towards a bachelor's in Animated arts and is minoring in professional writing. She is a member of the Honors Advisory Council and aims to entertain with the blended media of both art and literature.

Marrisa Moore - Student Worker

Marrisa joined the KU Honors Program as a freshman in Fall 2021. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Communication Studies. Marrisa is an active student panelist for the University Conduct Board and also works as a tour guide on campus.
