Background Information
Dr. Massie currently serves as the Social Media Area Coordinator. He was the co-architect of the Social Media Theory and Strategy major and minor as well as the co-designer of the Social Media Analytics Strategic Hub (SMASH), which provides powerful technology to supplement the Social Media program. To continue learning and developing his skill sets, Dr. Massie has completed an online course from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on Platform Strategies and a 4-day workshop at Boston University on Social Media Tools and Strategies. Additionally, he has earned a number of certificates in R Programming, Data Analysis, and Data Science online. Lastly, he is a Board Certified Social Media Intelligence Analyst through McAfee Institute.
