  • Biography
    Dr. Wendy Rogers began her career in education as a Special Education Teacher in the state of New Hampshire. For five years, Dr. Rogers supported elementary students with various abilities as a Learning Support Teacher and co-teacher. During this time, Dr. Rogers gained invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the special education field and developed a deep appreciation for the unique qualities and potential of each learner.

    Dr. Rogers transitioned into the role of an Elementary Education Classroom Teacher at Milton Hershey School. In this diverse residential setting, Dr. Rogers focused on supporting all learners through differentiated instruction and positive behavior intervention and supports.

    Inspired by her experiences in the classroom and the desire to advocate for inclusive and accessible education, Dr. Rogers pursued a career in academia and earned a doctoral degree in Education. Prior to Kutztown University, Dr. Rogers taught at Robert Morris University and Lock Haven University.
