Mission

The Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) champions innovative teaching and learning environments, robust scholarship and creative work, and meaningful service. The CEL strives to support faculty in their professional learning through­out their academic careers, from orientation to career ad­vance­ment and beyond, with a focus on well-being.

Advisory Council

Join the CEL Advisory Council! All faculty members are invited. Full-time, part-time, tenure track, adjunct, and non-instructional faculty of all ranks are welcome.

The CEL Advisory Council provides advice to the CEL on emerging issues and supports CEL programs and events. We will meet asynchronously through both a CEL Advisory Council email listserv and synchronously during finals week. All Council members will receive a certificate of service. See the below document for a full description of the role.

If you would like to be considered for the Advisory Council, please fill out this form by September 6, 2024. You can also choose to serve starting in the Spring semester of 2025.
