Part-Time Temporary Faculty Position in Art Education

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The university is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Art Education at Kutztown University invites applicants for a temporary part-time position to teach courses in the following areas: supervision of student teachers, integrated arts for PK-4, and graduate courses in the Arts Administration Program. Courses will be offered in-person or online in the spring semester of 2025. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities, continuing scholarly growth, and service. Required: Master's in Art Education or related field, and three years of PK-12 art teaching experience. Preferred: Ph.D. or Ed.D. Applicant should demonstrate a clear understanding of contemporary and historical trends in art and art education. A successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability are required.
