Communication Studies Part-Time Temporary Faculty Position

Spring 2025

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The university is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Communication Studies at Kutztown University invites applications for a part-time faculty position for a one-semester appointment for Spring 2025. The position includes teaching a basic public speaking course. The appointment begins in January 2025 and ends in May 2025.

M.A. in Communication Studies or related field required; Ph.D. preferred. Also required: A minimum of one (1) year of college-level teaching experience completed by August 2024, with specific evidence of ability to teach public speaking; successful completion of interview; and demonstration of teaching effectiveness. Salary is competitive, with rank to be determined.
