Online Instruction Endorsement
Teachers wishing to fast track their online instruction initiatives should consider our four-class Online Instruction Endorsement. You will learn how to develop high quality, pedagogically sound, interactive online instruction. Our course sequence is flexible and designed with multiple entry points for educators with different desires and varying levels of teaching experience.

Online Instruction Endorsement Course Sequence - 12 credits
- LLT 521 – Technologies for 21st Century Educators OR
LLT 565 – Emerging Technologies for Educators - LLT 535 – Designing Distance Education for the K-12 Educator

LLT 521 is a gentle introduction to technologies needed to design and deliver online instruction. LLT 521 is designed to ensure even the
Next in the sequence is LLT 535. In LLT 535, students learn about instructional design methodologies and they design a "paper" version of an online course. In LLT 555, students implement their online course designs in a real LMS.
Our LLT 535/555 "design then build" philosophy ensures that students are able to first conceptualize and design an effective and practical online course before delving into the technical vagaries needed to build a course in any given LMS system.
The final course in our sequence is LLT 590. LLT 590 places students back in their districts or other settings where they work with an instructional designer and/or online mentor to create blended/online resources for specific teaching and learning situations.
