The Kutztown Technology Association (KTA) is a student chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP.) Being a member of the KTA has many benefits. We have professional speakers come in to talk about their areas of expertise. We hold weekly meetings and workshops to give hands-on experience on many topics.
Women In STEM
To encourage more women to study STEM fields by exposing them to various activities and careers in STEM fields. Provide support, professional development, and discipline-specific activities to women interested in STEM fields.
Computer Programming Club
The goal of this organization is to develop your programming skills in a fun and friendly environment with students of all skill levels. We will explore a variety of interesting topics and program cool stuff.
This club will represent and fulfill an organized and competitive eSports environment at Kutztown University. We will have multiple teams for popular games on campus. As of right now, Overwatch, League of Legends, and Hearthstone (all online games) have teams. As interest in a particular game grows, that game may form a team. The competition will take place against other schools in an online setting. Many games have already been played online against other schools from around the US. Meetings and conference matches for each game are determined by the director of that game.
