Events and Activities
AIMS Family Dinners
One Sunday per month during the academic year, the AIMS Program Coordinators host a dinner for all the Brothers of AIMS to discuss various relevant topics/matters and opportunities for personal and professional networking. Most Family Dinners will include a guest speaker or panel of speakers who represent an array of professional areas. The Family Dinners are designed to aid Brothers in developing a deeper sense of the various career fields and professions, as well as, to refine their own career paths, interests, and purpose. Information about the AIMS Family Dinners is provided through AIMS D2L and the AIMS Group Me.
AIMS Meet Ups
The AIMS Chairs or Program Coordinators may schedule get-togethers throughout the year for AIMS Brothers to socialize, fellowship, network, and to have fun. These Meet Ups may be on or off campus, and often include refreshments. Meet Ups are free to AIMS Brothers and are often promoted through the AIMS Group Me account.
AIMS Excursions
To further develop members, and build and maintain a bond amongst our Brothers, AIMS offers off-campus excursions to various activities, events, and programs. Paid for by AIMS, these excursions include transportation, food, and entrance fees to excursion (as applicable). To confirm your attendance to the excursion, all AIMS Brothers may be required to provide a small refundable deposit (deposits are returned the day of the excursion). Information about excursions is provided through the AIMS D2L and AIMS Group Me.
AIMS Taekwondo
Started in Fall 2021 by Sensei, Dr. James Jackson, the AIMS Taekwondo club engages AIMS Brothers in this unique and ancient form of martial arts. AIMS Brothers learn discipline, fitness, self-defense, and build skills to advance the use of these techniques.
