Student Spotlight

Austin, Texas, native Bianca Rosales is an Art Education major at Kutztown University.  She plans to graduate in May 2023.

Why did you choose KU?

 I chose KU because I heard of the amazing art education program they had from research but also from my high school teacher Mr. Jones.

Why did you choose your major?

My high school teacher really helped me in broadening my art horizons and to just overall push my mind limitations. I want to do that for others and help them reach a place where art becomes an extension of themselves.

What goals do you have for your major?

I hope to inspire others to create that amazing relationship with art and use it as a tool of expression in which it was intended.

What advice would you give to incoming students?

My advice for incoming students is make sure to use the resources you're given while you are studying here and don't be afraid to experiment. There is so much experience and knowledge our professors have so don't be afraid to ask questions and try new things.
