Background Information
Dr. Bleach's research interests include media studies, American film history and genre, feminism and film, exploitation cinema, and pop music. He has written or presented papers on teen films, the animated GIF, pop music fandom, shot-on-video horror, and DVD fan commentaries. He currently serves on the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Assessment Committee and the Commission on the Status of Women.
