Biography
Kerri Cebula, J.D., is an Associate Professor of Sport Management at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School, where she also earned the Certificate in Sports Law from the National Sports Law Institute of Marquette University Law School. While at MULS, she was a member of the Marquette Sports Law Review and served as a research assistant to Professor Paul Anderson, Director of the NSLI. Professor Cebula has presented at the Sport and Recreation Law Association, and the European Association of Sport Management conferences and at various events for the National Sports Law Institute of Marquette University Law School. She has been published in the Journal of Brand Strategy, Journal of NCAA Compliance, Concussion Litigation Alert, and the Marquette Sports Law Review. Her work also appears in the Handbook of International Sport Business and Sports Leadership: A Concise Reference Guide. Professor Cebula is co-author of Governance in Sport: Analysis and Application, available from Human Kinetics.
Professor Cebula's research interests include intellectual property, unfair competition, and the intersection of motorsports and the law.
