CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Commission on Human Diversity’s 13th annual conference which will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 3, 2023, in MSU.  Our conference theme this year, "Contemporary Issues in Human Diversity and Social Justice" promotes the commission's mission to educate in all areas of diversity.  We are accepting proposals based on contemporary topics: disability studies, critical race theory, neurodiversity, intersectionality, religion and sexuality. We also welcome proposals related to the various dimensions of multiculturalism, diversity, social justice, inclusion and equity in all areas of life and education.  The initial proposal deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 7, with the possibility of acceptance until Jan 11, 2023.  We welcome proposals from staff, faculty, students and off-campus stakeholders.

Comission Description

Pursues the goal of having a university community where all members honor each other's differences. It sets priorities, monitors changes and educates the community in order to create an environment in which all members will receive proper recognition, encouragement and support. Meetings: third Thursday of the month during the semester. Terms: 2 years. Appointees: 10 of the 27 members

    Students are invited to participate in the Kutztown University Governance and Advisory Committees. This is a great way to get to know others at the university, become a part of the decision-making process and have your voice heard.  No prior experience necessary, just a genuine interest in being an active part of the community!
