Finding Funding

The Office of Grants and Sponsored Projects can provide assistance in identifying potential funding sources.  Faculty and staff can also identify funding sources by talking with colleagues, visiting individual websites of sponsors (i.e. National Science Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts), or by searching online databases like Grants.gov, Grants Resource Center and SPIN.

Grants.gov is an access point for over 1000 grant programs offered by all Federal grant-making agencies.

Grants Resource Center contains a lot of helpful information regarding funding:

  -Publications regarding funding and deadlines

  -Funded proposal library

-Grant Search - search for grant opportunities

-Funding Search Form - Grants Resource Center staff will conduct a custom search

SPIN contains over 40,000 opportunities from more than 10,000 sponsors.  With SPIN, you can:

  -Access funding information online

-Organize grant information in one convenient place

-Gain access to the largest Keyword list, allowing for greater flexibility in your searches

-Quickly locate Limited Submission Opportunities, Federal or non-Federal programs

-Locate all types of funding information-Fed Business Opps / Federal Register Guide

-Setup an account to save searches
