About Us
What is Kutztown University's Upward Bound?
Upward Bound is a federally-funded TRIO program designed to prepare and support eligible high school students to enter and succeed in postsecondary education immediately after completing high school. Kutztown University's Upward Bound project serves 60 students in grades 9-12 at William Allen High School in the Allentown School District.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to assist low-income, first-generation college-bound high school students in the successful completion of secondary education and prepare them academically and socially for the enrollment in and completion of higher education.
