Social Equity Mission
It is the mission of the Office of Social Equity to:

Offer and support programs, training and education to further the university's goals of equal opportunity and nondiscrimination;

Review and investigate complaints of discrimination/harassment;

Assist in the recruitment and retention of women and minority faculty and staff;

Monitor the hiring of faculty, coaches, and senior-level management employees to ensure an equitable and legal process, while striving to hire a qualified and diverse workforce;

Ensure compliance with the university's Affirmative Action Plan; and
-
Contribute to a campus climate that welcomes and celebrates diversity.
