Family Day 2024 - Saturday, October 5

We are pleased to announce that Family Day 2024 will be on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Scheduled Events
10am-1pm: Fun Zone in the Student Recreation Center. Free activities including an inflated obstacle course, a 9 station wellness experience, bracelet making, caricatures, a roving magician and more!
12 noon: KU Football faces Bloomsburg at Andre Reed Stadium
(Tickets Required: kutztown.universitytickets com)
4pm: KU Women’s Volleyball faces Shepherd at Keystone Arena
5:30pm: KU Field Hockey faces IUP at Andre Reed Stadium
*The planetarium is under renovation, and therefore unavailable for shows this fall.*
Explore the Campus
Get your Golden Bear swag at the KU Bookstore in the McFarland Student Union. The store is open 10am-2pm on Saturdays.
Spend time at the Keith Haring Fitness Court.
Visit the art galleries to experience the talent of our student artists, as well as work by faculty members, alumni and noted regional, national and international artists.  The Marlin and Regina Miller Gallery and New Media Gallery are open on Saturdays from 12noon-4pm.  
Visit the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research.  The center is open from 2pm-6pm on Saturdays.
Dining Facilities
South Dining Hall will be open.
Starbucks - Just renovated! and will be open from 10am-5pm in the McFarland Student Union.

    About Family Day

    The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs is responsible for Family Day and other large-scale programs to support student success. Join us for a fun day of activities for the whole family. The day is built around our home football game for the day - and we have a variety of activities for students, parents, siblings, and other family members both before and after the game.  We partner with student organizations and other academic and co-curricular departments to bring a large variety of events that you can enjoy.
