KU Presents! is the cultural arts presenting arm of the university whose mission is "to be the center of cultural life at Kutztown University and the regional community through professional presentations of innovative and engaging live music, theatre and dance of the highest quality."
By providing access to world-renown artists and a variety of live performances, KU Presents! enhances the Kutztown University student experience, provides enriching opportunities for university faculty, employees and alumnae, and strengthens the connections between campus and community. Associated functions include: identify and engage all series performers, manage the 826-seat Schaeffer Auditorium, arrange technical production of sound, lighting and staging for all live performances, provide ticketing functions and customer service for all ticketed events on campus, host artist workshops and hands-on master classes for KU students and KU student organizations, coordinate educational outreach with local schools and youth groups, provide arts-relevant curriculum support, offer family activities in conjunction with the arts education curriculum, and foster cultural arts-related career paths by providing access to professionally touring artists of diverse backgrounds and talents.
