UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS
International students should follow these deadlines in order to have time to complete the enrollment and immigration process. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

First Year Application Instructions
International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen (first year student).
HOW TO APPLY
- Complete the application for admission
- Pay $35 application fee in the application portal. (non-refundable)
- Submit official secondary school (high school) records/transcripts, including subjects listed and marks/grades earned, secondary school certificates, diplomas, and school or national exam results. Records provided by applicants are considered unofficial. Read more information here.

- Submit a copy of your passport, copy of the picture and information page.

Transfer Application Instructions
International transfer students are students who have attended a post-secondary institution after high school and attempted any credit. If you completed 12 or more college-level credits, your application will be reviewed based on your college coursework.
HOW TO APPLY
- Complete the application for admission
- Pay $35 application fee in the application portal. (non-refundable)
- Submit official secondary school (high school) records/transcripts, including subjects listed and marks/grades earned, secondary school certificates, diplomas, and school or national exam results. High school records are only required for applicants who have (1) earned less than 30 college-level semester credits/45 quarter credits or (2) have an earned associate's degree or higher. Graduate Application Instructions
International graduate applicants have completed a minimum of a bachelor's degree and is interested in applying for graduate-level study.
HOW TO APPLY
- Complete the application for admission
- Pay $35 application fee in the application portal. (non-refundable)
- Complete a course-by-course transcript evaluation of post-secondary school (college) records/transcripts. Applicants should not upload or email their transcripts or evaluations as they will not be accepted. Evaluations should come directly from an evaluation company. Read more information here.

exchange ADMISSIONS
International exchange students complete a different application than degree-seeking students.

Exchange students should follow the deadlines to have time to complete the enrollment and immigration process. We recommend you apply as early as possible. You can apply before being nominated from their home institution. Deadline exceptions will be made on an individual basis. |

Exchange Nomination and Application Instructions
International exchange applicants can apply or be nominated in any order. Only students from Kutztown University's exchange partners can apply as an exchange student.
Partner NOMINATion
The home institution will nominate a student by emailing international@kutztown.edu with the following information and application materials:
- Student information: First Name, Last Name, School Email, Start Term, Length of Study, Major/Area of Study
- Submit translated academic records/transcripts. Records provided by applicants are considered unofficial.
- Submit official English proficiency documentation. Submit scores from one of the following exams: IELTS (6.0), TOEFL (70), Duolingo (105), or another accepted exam. Additionally, the home university may provide a letter verifying the student has English language proficiency equivalent to a CEFR B2 level. Read more information here.
