Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance is observed Sept. 11 in honor of the individuals who lost their lives as a result of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Test of KU Alert System - There will be a test of the Kutztown University emergency alert systems at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. You will receive test messages through the Omnilert text message and email system. Campus loudspeakers and desktop pop-up systems will not be activated during this test, as they are actively under repair. Messages will also be seen on the university website and social media.

Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance - Remember and reflect, Alumni Plaza. Kutztown Pipe Band tribute 10:15-10:30 a.m. this morning. Flags on display represent lives lost on 9/11/01. Carnations will be available for those who would like to place a flower on site to honor their loved ones. There is no formal program.
