Grant Goals
The grant aims to increase equitable access to high-impact practices and increase retention and graduation rates by 5% by the end of the five-year grant award. Performance indicators being tracked include the following:

Increase retention and graduation rates by 5% over five years (Fall 2023 #s listed below)
- All students – 75%
- URM – 68%
- Pell eligible – 67%
- First-generation – 71%

Decrease DFW rates in FYSM courses to 14% (FA23 17%)

Increase # of tutoring hours—Tutor.com; 24/7 online launch in Summer 2024

Increase # of students completing two or more HIPs, including the following initiatives supported by the Title III grant:
- Faculty-led research (CUREs or Course-based Research Experiences)
- Micro-internships
- Study abroad

Increase % of relevant faculty/staff using the Starfish Student Success platform

Increase Reboot program completers and retention to the 2nd year

Improve knowledge and skills of faculty/staff to support neurodivergent students
