Application & Scholarships

We are delighted you are interested in applying for admission to a program in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Depending on your intended major, your application may require 1 or 2 steps.

STEP 1:

Submit your application and transcripts to KU on through the KU Admissions website, or the Common App.

Find a list of all VPA majors, minors, and certificates here.

STEP 2:

Art & Design, Art Education, and Music applicants, please complete a portfolio review or schedule an audition.

ART & DESIGN AND ART EDUCATION APPLICANTS
Students interested in pursuing a career in Animated Arts, Art Education, Communication Design, or Studio Art

• Please view the portfolio requirements.
• Portfolios are reviewed online through SlideRoom. 
  
• Attend a Virtual Portfolio Prep Workshop | Wednesday, November 13, 2024
  
• Upload a portfolio on SlideRoom.

MUSIC APPLICANTS

Music Students should contact the Music Department for auditions, music@kutztown.edu or 610-683-4550

The following VPA majors do NOT require a portfolio review or audition for admission: Art History; Cinema, Television and Media Production; Communication Studies.
