Training Opportunities

The DSO staff will be facilitating virtual faculty training sessions throughout the Fall 2023 semester. The purpose of the virtual sessions is to provide faculty with the opportunity to refresh their knowledge about the implementation of specific accommodations within the classroom environment, and to provide faculty with the opportunity to address any questions or concerns they may have regarding the implementation of approved academic accommodations within their classroom setting. In addition to the DSO virtual faculty training opportunities, the DSO will have DSO Office Hours for faculty in the Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) in the Rohrbach Library, Room 6 on specific days and times throughout the fall semester. Faculty are encouraged / welcome to stop-by with any questions or concerns they may have related to accommodating students, campus accessibility, accessible technology, etc.
