Submitting a Student Success Referral
How to Make a Referral
KU Student Success is committed to forming partnerships with faculty and staff members in order to enhance the student experience at Kutztown University.
To refer a student, please follow the instructions below:
Student Referral Instructions
Log into Starfish via the Kutztown Home Page www.kutztown.edu and click on the gold "K YOU" icon.
- Click on the My Students navigation item to see your list of students.
- Find the desired student by typing the name into the Search box.
- Click on the student's name to navigate to the student's folder or click the checkbox to the left of the student's name.
- Click the desired Referral button.
- Select Student Success.
- Enter notes in the Comment box (optional but recommended).
- Click the SAVE button.
Student Success will receive an automated email that includes information provided in the optional comment box. Student Success will reach out to the student to address the referral. Students cannot see the referral or comments.
