Biographical Statement:
Dr. Heather A. LaBarre is the Director of Field Education and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Kutztown University. She earned her PhD in Human Development with a specialization in Social Work from Marywood University. Dr. LaBarre obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Kutztown University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience across all levels of practice including individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, hospital social work, community-based services, research, policy, and program development.
