Shaeffer Auditorium Renovation

Kutztown University's Schaeffer Auditorium, originally constructed in 1938, received renovations beginning on March 22, 2012.

Elegant Schaeffer Auditorium serves the university community in many ways.

The jewel of Schaeffer Auditorium is the 800-seat theatre where musical, dance, and theatrical performances regularly grace the stage. Kutztown University's Performing Artists Series brings world-renowned entertainers to our area.

Classrooms introduce students to the wonder of music and a smaller secondary theatre provides a stage for entertainment groups. Students can even outfit themselves for performances in the costume shop.

Schaeffer is named after President Nathan Schaeffer, who served the school from 1877-93.
