The Heritage Center museum is currently closed to the public for tours and activities due to the construction of the Heritage Center’s new headquarters, library, and archives building. To learn more about this exciting new project please visit us at kuf.org.

The Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center is located at the northwest corner of campus. The center represents the commitment of Kutztown University to the preservation of Pennsylvania German (Pennsylvania Dutch) history, folklore, and traditions.

The Center sits on a 30-acre, 19th century farmstead and also features the Freyberger one-room schoolhouse, library, and museum. In addition to year-round programming and events, the Center hosts classes for KU's PA German Studies academic program.
