Do you want to learn how to communicate?  This is the building for you. The Rickenbach Learning Center may be one of the most exciting buildings on campus. 

Featuring a state-of-the-art television studio, audio and video editing suites, Cinema, Television and Media students shoot complete television shows and produce film and media projects in this building.

The Communication Studies Department teaches its students valuable communication skills here.

Home to the Social Media Analytics Strategic Hub (SMASH), a unique, innovative and collaborative space with access to software and technology only available at select research institutions in the U.S.

Named for Mary E. Rickenbach, who was a 1912 graduate who returned in 1919 to become the supervisor of the primary grades of the model school, and eventually retired after 43 years at Kutztown as Dean of Women.
