Visual Arts at Kutztown University

The Sharadin Arts Building, within Kutztown University's College of Visual and Performing Arts, is where ideas become works of art.

The Sharadin Arts Building was expanded into a single, state-of-the-art facility in 2008. The College of Visual and Performing Arts departments of Art & Design and Art Education are housed in this visually stunning facility. The Dean of the college is located here.

The building includes spaces for art teaching labs and studios. A main attraction is the Marlin and Regina Miller Art Gallery, where professionally executed solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art in a variety of mediums is presented. An adjoining student gallery gives the opportunity to showcase work during students' time at KU.

A beautiful entrance and "piazza" function as a meeting place and gateway to campus.

The building is named in honor of Henry William Sharadin, who was the director of the Art Department from 1902-1916 and 1925-1939.
