Beidler Named KU Employee of the Month for December 2022

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Congratulations to Craig Beidler, police supervisor, Public Safety and Police Services, on being named Kutztown University Employee of the Month for December 2022.

Beidler’s nomination from Jennifer Fernandez, student, reads:

“Craig, in addition to doing an excellent job, exhibits an outstanding devotion to both his university and the general public. Craig takes it upon himself to provide exceptional support and service to new faculty and staff. He quickly discerns their individual needs and moves efficiently to provide key information or direction. Beyond this and during times of transition, he has worked doubles to help support his staff members and university. He is known for his kindness towards students on campus and staff.

“Craig is a wonderful ambassador for our university. I believe that his professional demeanor and kindness toward students on campus and staff is something to be grateful for,” said one Kutztown student.

Craig is always willing to pitch in for the good of the community regardless of the mission. Through many changes in leadership, Craig has made a difference at our university, exemplified the mission of the university and has positively impacted the people of our state. His skills, knowledge, willingness to help others and dedication to our university and the community make him our Employee of the Month nominee.”

Nominations are collected from students, faculty and staff, and the Employee of the Month is selected by the Human Resources Advisory Council. A winner will be selected each month, and out of the 12 monthly winners one will be selected as Employee of the Year. The Employee of the Month will receive a plaque, reserved parking and a $100 monetary gift sponsored by President Hawkinson.
