KU Named 2023 Transfer Honor Roll Recipient for Sixth-Consecutive Year

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University was named to Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society's 2023 Transfer Honor Roll for the sixth-consecutive year. KU was among 208 colleges and universities in the nation to be named in recognition of the dynamic pathways they have created to support community college transfer students.

Kutztown University was one of 10 Pennsylvania schools honored and the only member of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education.

All regionally accredited four-year degree granting institutions who admit transfer students a minimum of once annually are eligible to apply and are evaluated in six areas:

  • Admissions
  • Cost of Attendance
  • Campus Life
  • Recruitment Practices
  • Peer Reviews

Transfer students looking to attend KU will discover a multitude of opportunities and support from staff members who are specifically designated to assist with the needs of transfer students. These resources include transfer admission days, on-campus transfer special interest group housing, transfer-only orientations and special Welcome Week and weekend programs.

KU also offers numerous scholarships for transfer students, including a Transfer Housing Award, Transfer Book Award, merit scholarships and more.
