KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Congratulations to Nancy Brynildsen, clerical assistant, Student Success and Academic Excellence, on being named Kutztown University Employee of the Month for August 2022.

Brynildsen’s nomination from students Ella Mahon, John Pettit and Olivia Keen, reads:

Ella Mahon

“Nancy is the glue that holds this office together. Along with taking care of the everyday needs of her staff, Nancy makes everyone who not only works in the Success Center, but also those who visit the Success Center, feel heard and cared for. Even on the days when I am tired, burnt out and do not really want to go to work, I cannot help but smile when I am greeted by Nancy.”

John Pettit

“Nancy goes above and beyond to support the Center for Student Success and Academic Excellence. She greets everyone with a smiling face every day, and not only provides a positive attitude, but she works tirelessly to get the supplies together for the STARS Program, Success Academy and Student Success in general. The legwork she does truly keeps our workplace maintained like a well-oiled machine. Overall, Nancy does a copious amount of work behind the scenes that may go unrecognized to the common eye, so she is beyond deserving of this award.”

Olivia Keen

“Nancy goes above and beyond for all of KU. She knows the answer to every question! She is kind, and she brightens the day of everyone she encounters. Nancy is just the best!”
