Over the past decade, we have seen gender and sexual minority advocates work toward equity, acceptance and visibility in all areas of life. The conference taking place at Kutztown University will serve as an educational opportunity for members of the LGBT community and their allies to learn more about struggles, issues and movements toward change, while approaching aspects of wellness from the personal, to relational, to political, to organizational.
This year's keynote speaker is Dr. Jon Paul Higgins, a writer and social justice educator who focuses on issues related to gender, race and media.
