Campuswide Electrical Shut Down Sunday, May 14

The campus electrical distribution system will be shut down from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 14. There will be no power to any campus building during that time. This work is necessary to perform required PMs on the university 69kV substation. Please make sure to save and power down your PC prior to this shutdown event. We plan to have facilities support staff on campus to address any service issues that may arise when the power returns. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Multimodal Teaching Article

Since Fall 2020, the German section of the Department of Modern Language Studies has offered its courses "multimodal," meaning some students attend in person and some via Zoom. This delivery method has enabled students from across PASSHE to take upper-level German classes and, in some cases, complete their degrees. Lynn M. Kutch recently published an article in the leading German language teaching journal Die Unterrichtspraxis/Teaching German: "Disruptive Innovation for Language Teaching in a Multimodal Format."
