KU and LCCC Enhance Transfer Agreement to Help Students Earn Degrees
Kutztown University and Lehigh Carbon Community College have strengthened their partnership by adding resources to allow students to seamlessly transfer credits between the two institutions to encourage students to complete a college degree.

University Marketing is offering headshots for any KU faculty or staff member who would like a new or updated photo. Stop by 195 MSU to get your photo taken anytime during the following dates/times: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24; or 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 1. When dressing for a successful headshot, simplicity is key. Stick with solid colors or subtle patterns. Avoid tight patterns, plaids or narrow stripes, shiny or reflective materials, large or reflective jewelry and clothing with logos other than KU.

Invoices - SourcePoint
For expenses entered through SourcePoint, the department must forward all invoices to Accounts Payable for payment. Procurement does not forward any invoices attached to PRs to the Accounts Payable office. Ensure the purchase order number is indicated on the invoice and send it with approval to pay to apinvoice@kutztown.edu. If the invoice is for a service, once Accounts Payable enters the invoice for payment, you will receive an email notification to approve the invoice in SourcePoint. KU-Led Study Abroad Proposal - Training Series
The Office of International Education and Global Engagement is leading a three-part training series designed to equip faculty/staff with the essential skills and knowledge to lead a study abroad program.

Early Alert Progress Survey
The Fall 2024 Early Alert Progress Survey will be available for faculty in Starfish beginning Wednesday, Sept. 18, and will remain open until Thursday, Sept. 26. Faculty are encouraged to use the survey to send kudos to students as words of encouragement, to acknowledge good work and to reinforce student success early in the semester. Faculty can also raise flags of concern for attendance issues, missing/late or low-scoring assignments or submit a fully customized academic concern flag. Every kudos and flag template has the option to add custom content; two options are completely customizable. All message templates can be viewed in Starfish D2L. Athletics
Dr. David E. McFarland to Receive 2024 Kutztown University Athletics Legacy Award
Former Kutztown University president Dr. David E. McFarland has been named the recipient of the 2024 Kutztown University Athletics Legacy Award. McFarland will be presented with the award during the university's Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Friday, Nov. 8. Prior to his arrival, KU won six state championships in its 95-year athletic history. KU's athletic department experienced great success under McFarland's leadership, winning 19 conference championships across six sports and posting three top 30 National Association of Collegiate Athletic Directors Division II Directors' Cup finishes.
