Weather

Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger

We've gotten past the worst of the brutal cold. Slightly less brutal weather begins today behind a weak warm front which will turn our breezes to the southwest. High temperatures today will be around 24, about an eight-degree improvement from yesterday and 10-degree improvement from the day prior. Clouds will tend to dominate early in the day with more in the way of some partial sun later.

Enroll in ACUE's "Fostering a Culture of Belonging"

We are once again providing both faculty and staff with the opportunity to earn a digital badge in “Fostering a Culture of Belonging” through Kutztown University’s partnership with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE). In the spring semester, the 100% online, asynchronous course opens Monday, Feb. 17, with welcome sessions scheduled for the week of Feb. 10. "Fostering a Culture of Belonging” takes approximately eight weeks to complete and includes four modules: Managing the Impact of Biases; Reducing Microaggressions; Addressing Imposter Phenomenon and Stereotype Threat; Cultivating an Inclusive Environment. If you wish to register for this free professional development opportunity, please register online by Tuesday, Feb. 4. The results from the Fall cohort of “students” were impressive, with 100% of the course participants reporting increased confidence in their ability to create a welcoming environment for all students.
