Nominations Open for 2025 Arthur and Isabel Wiesenberger Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching

You are invited to nominate a candidate for the 2025 Arthur and Isabel Wiesenberger Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching. Any current full-time tenured faculty member at Kutztown University is eligible for nomination. This award is presented each year to one faculty member who has served Kutztown University in a manner that sets them apart from faculty colleagues. The recipient will receive $2,500 and a plaque, which will be presented by the president of Kutztown University at the Faculty and Staff Convocation and Celebration Friday, Aug. 22. T. Brown Retirement Reception

Due to unforeseen changes, the retirement reception for T. Brown has been canceled. Individuals are welcome to stop by or send notes of farewell next week. We apologize for any confusion. T's last day on campus is Friday, Jan. 31. An announcement will be made soon regarding the new director. The Newman Center Spring 2025 Schedule

The Newman Council invites you to join us for Mass at the Saint Christopher Catholic Newman Center (15207 Kutztown Road, across from Old Main) this semester. Weekday Masses will be offered at 12:10 p.m. Mondays, and 5:15 p.m. Wednesdays. Sunday Masses will be offered at 5 p.m., starting Jan. 26.

Faculty and Staff Spring Pickleball League

Recreational Services will be offering a spring faculty and staff pickleball league. Ten teams participated in the fall league and we look forward to even more teams joining this semester. For more information about the league or to register a team, please email Matt Barrett at barrett@kutztown.edu. Registration ends Friday, Jan. 31.
