Anthes Named Assistant Dean of College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Kutztown University has appointed Madeline Anthes as assistant dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Anthes joins KU after serving for 11 years at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and will assume her new role at KU Monday, Dec. 4.

Free Flu Vaccines for Faculty and Staff

The KU Health Center has a limited supply of flu vaccines available for students, faculty and staff at no charge. The CDC recommends everyone receive an annual flu vaccine to protect against the spread of the virus. Call 610-683-4082, option 1 to schedule an appointment.

Join Us for the CSC355 Software Engineering Demo Day

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology is proud to announce the fall Senior Seminar Software Engineering Demo Day 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 218 McFarland Student Union Building. Presentations are 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m and poster sessions are 1:30-3:30 p.m. Students have worked for two semesters on their projects, including web, mobile, PC applications and a fingerprint scanning application. Plan on attending all or part of the day, live and in person. Thank you for your support of our students.

Football Wins Regional Title for First Time in Program History

Kutztown University scored touchdowns on its first three possessions and received a game-altering 100-yard interception return from Antaun Lloyd with 11:06 left in the fourth quarter to defeat 15th-ranked Slippery Rock 28-16 and win its first-ever NCAA Division II Super Region 1 championship Saturday afternoon. The victory sends the Golden Bears (12-2) into the national semifinals 3:30 p.m. EST, Saturday, Dec. 9, against No. 1 Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo. The semifinal games will be carried on ESPN+ (subscription required).
