Field Hockey Advances to PSAC Championships This Weekend at ESU

The Kutztown University field hockey team will compete in the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships Nov. 3-5, at East Stroudsburg University. The semifinal games will be played Friday, Nov. 3. In the first semifinal at noon, No. 1 seed East Stroudsburg University takes on No. 4 Mansfield University. In the second semifinal at 2:30 p.m., No. 2 seed Shippensburg University takes on No. 3 Kutztown University. The championship game will be played 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5. A Raucous “Pirates of Penzance” is Coming to KU

Schaeffer Auditorium will be overrun by the zaniest crew of buccaneers of all time when KU Presents! brings the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players’ hilarious production of “The Pirates of Penzance” 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9. Known for their musical excellence and skill with humor both broad and subtle, the company’s mission is to share this repertoire with children to develop future audiences for the beloved works. Join them for this boisterous musical journey. Faculty and staff can access discounted tickets by logging in for tickets using their MyKU log-in.

Kutztown University Council of Trustees Meeting

The Kutztown University Council of Trustees will meet Thursday, Nov. 2, in the McFarland Student Union Building.
Committee meetings will begin at 1:30 p.m.:
- Academic and Student Affairs Committee, 323 MSU.
- Finance, Property, and Audit Committee, 322 MSU.
- Human Diversity Committee, 325 MSU.
- University Relations and Athletics and Advancement Committee, 324 MSU.
The Plenary Session will begin at 3 p.m., 250 MSU.

2024 PEBTF Open Enrollment

PEBTF-covered employees (i.e., AFSCME and SCUPA): The Open Enrollment period starts Monday, Oct. 16 and ends Friday, Nov. 3. This is your opportunity to make changes to your coverage or your covered dependents, as determined by the plan. If you wish to make changes, please go to Benefits Enrollment, on the Employee Self-Service. If you do not wish to make any changes, you do not have to do anything. Please note that there are changes to the buy-up and everyone will receive new cards this year.

Army Tuition Assistance Clinic

Please share this information with your students. Military and Veterans Services will hold an Army Tuition Assistance Clinic 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, IT training room, 200 Stratton Administration Center. Please have your Army student veterans drop in during these clinic hours and we will help them create their Army Ignited (AI) account. Students need to have an approved AI account and resolve any holds prior to the window to apply for tuition assistance, Friday, Nov. 24.
