Recommend Students for Honors Program

KU's Honors Program seeks help identifying promising students to join Honors. The program supports students who seek to make the most of their education through high-impact curricular and co-curricular programming dedicated to leadership, involvement, intellectual curiosity, experiential learning and originality. We represent and support students in every major on campus. Honors students show higher retention and graduation rates, even when compared to other high-achieving populations, and they flourish as campus leaders. Growing our program is good for the students, good for programs and good for the whole campus community. Many students who maybe wouldn’t have started out in Honors find themselves thriving in college. Nobody is better positioned than you to help these students recognize their own terrific potential. We are looking for untapped promise as much as anything else. We are very happy to consider any interested student; however, those in their first couple semesters are far more likely to be able to complete Honors requirements before graduation. The application form is easy and online. We hope you’ll share it with students and email us a very brief recommendation to . We will follow up and help them complete the application.
